Essence Trend Edition ''Floral Grunge''

Essence came with a new make-up collection or trend called ''Floral Grunge'', this collection contains intense color, different texture and kinda hippie-chic style. This collection featured different items such as 2 Eyeshadow Quad, Stick on Eyeliner, 2 Mini Lipgloss set, Blush, 5 Nail polishes, Body Tattoo, Hair dye powder and Hair band. This collection carries humongous stuffs which I didn't actually get all of them like for example the Mini Lipgloss set, Stick on eyeliner, Body Tattoo and the Hair band. Why I didn't get them? Hmmm!! They are not really appealing for my personal taste, which I am really least interested on this particular items. In terms of price range of the items, I think they are payable. Well, in general Essence cosmetics whether its a collection or pro products they have always cheap or affordable prices.

This is the look I created using the make-up products I get from
the collection. It is wearable and great for Summer season because
of the neutral colors I combined to achieve this look.

This eyeshadow quad is called ''Eye Like Flowers'' which
contains pastel colors which any color would be great as a
all over the lid shade. The pastel green or mint green color
reminds me a lot of the Spring season wherein plants starts to
grow back and bloom. They minty green(right above) has a matte
texture the color next to it is a shimmery white color, which can
be used as a highlight on your brow bones or a lid color.
The color (Right Bottom) is a sheer baby pink shade and the
color next to it is a bright matte coral eyeshadow.
The eyeshadow quad retails for € 2.99

This eyeshadow quad is called ''Eye Like Grunge'' this palette
contains warm colors. I love how vivid the colors are and opaque,
but I won't definitely use all the colors in this palette to create a look for
Summer. It is because it emphasizes a darker look, which is too
much for the Summer. But if you will use only the Dirty white semi
matte eyeshadow as well as the shimmery purple, I think that you can create
a appropriate Summer make-up.

This is the only blush shade that they have on the collection
and this is called ''Be Flowerful'' .So, if I have to pick one product
that I will highly recommend, that would be this blush. It is very
pigmented yet really wearable. I've been grabbing this product
since the day I got it and can you believe that I've been using
this product every single day. I am completely obsessed, this is a perfect
shade for people who has a light to medium dark skin tone. This is
perfect coral shade. I promise!!

This collection came with 5 different colors of nail polishes,
for some reason this is the only color that really caught my eyes
and decided to purchased it. I love the minty pastel green color
very appropriate for Spring. Isn't it? This nail polish  is called
''Grunge Me Tender''..  To get the exact color that
you actually see in the container, you have to apply the nail varnish
twice, 1 coat wouldn't be enough, trust me. It looks extremely
weird to have it on your nails for just one coat. The nail polish contains
a very fine white shimmer iridescent which makes the nail polish
shiny. BTW I don't use a top coat on this nail polish I just painted my
nails with this color.
The nail polish  retails for € 1.89.

From the collection they have also a Hair Dye Powder which is
called ''Rock in Style'' as much as I want to try a hair dye powder
it's kinda sad that this is the only color that they had. I can described
it as a vibrant flamingo coral-ish color. This product is transferable so
I will highly suggest that you use a hairspray after applying this product
on your hair, just to lock it on your hair, so that it doesn't move around.
I will recommend also that you wear a clothes which this color
won't be obvious just in case that this product transfer on your clothes.
The texture of this product is really rough and I will consider it as a mess
because once you swiped it on your hair some of the products will drop on the
floor or on your clothes if your not really careful.
This product retails for € 2.99.

*For wrap up, I definitely recommend Essence Cosmetics, specially for make-up beginners or any make-up enthusiast. They are very affordable and has a good pigmentation.I highly recommend the blush, so if you can still find it on store or on online, definitely grab this product.

Have a lovely day my loves.

BH Cosmetics 7pcs Hard Case Brush Set: Classic Red

I've been hunting  this brush set from BH cosmetics. First of all the case looks really adorable and the brushes looks quite promising and the fact that this brush set are always SOLD OUT, I even want it more badly.
When I saw this brush set on a sale and back in stock I decided immediately to purchase it. When I got it on a mail, I am really excited and rapidly open it.
This brush set retails for $18.95, but don't worry because BH cosmetics having a sale on there website and you can definitely get it on a lower price.

The Hard case or brush holder is definitely sturdy, I am amazed how
its well designed, pretty and really high quality case. I find it handy to carry
around in my purse and specially when I travel.
It is also hygienic because your brush won't be mixed in any make-up
items inside your bag. It looks really adorable and it will keep my brushes
tidy.
The case has 2 compartments. 1 side is for your face brush and the
other side is for the eye brushes.
And what I like about this case too, is that it comes with a mirror, makes
it much easier to do your make-up. HUGE HELP really!
Here how the eye brushes kept inside the case, the blending brush is
separated, while the other remaining brushes where holding by a
rounded garter, which make them separated from one another.
I really like the idea how they created this case.
(FROM LEFT TO RIGHT)
1- Round precision brush
2- Flat shader brush
3- Fine eyeliner brush
4- Angled definer brush
5- Lip brush
6-Blending brush
7- Powder brush

First of all this brushes are very flexible you don't need to stick on
what this brushes claims to be used for. You can actually use
them on different purpose.
My favorite brush would definitely the Powder brush, it is extremely soft
and dense. This brush is perfect on applying your powder but not really well
for loose powder, it cause a lot of mess, the powder is kinda all over the
place. You can use this brush too as a blush brush which appears
natural looking.
The Flat shader brush is not just good to apply your eyeshadow but
is also good to use as a concealer brush on the dark spot on your face
as well as underneath your eyes, the tip is quite pointed which helps
me to conceal the very inner corner of my eyes.
The Round precision brush is great to create a very defined crease,
the pointed tip will help you to fined your crease and create a precise
line or curved.
The Angle definer brush is great to apply eyeshadow on your lower lash
line. I don't find it good to define your eye brows, I think that the
bristles are too big, its just my personal preference.
The Lip brush. I don't think that this is ideal to apply your lipstick or
lip gloss, it is way too small. And it is not my ideal eyeliner brush
either, its too flimsy to create a sexy cat eye. To make it short I
don't use this brush.
The Blending brush is a good brush. Its not really that soft and dense
to blend the harsh line thoroughly, but it definitely blend the harsh line
quite well. This brush is good to apply your crease color softly.
The crease color appears really beautiful and I love it. This brush
game me natural defined crease.
The Fine eyeliner brush is my second favorite, I can create a very
attractive cat eyeliner using this brush. I love to use this brush to create
a thick or thin line on my upper lash line and it makes much more
easier to apply your liner.

*For wrap up, I definitely recommend this brush set. It is affordable and great for make-up beginners to practice and enhance your make-up application.

BH Cosmetics California Make-up Palette Collection

BH Cosmetics came with a new make-up collection which is about the classic ''California City'' , they came out with 3 different make-up palette which are BH San Francisco, BH Hollywood and BH Malibu. I never been to California, so I don't have any idea how it looks like in real. Regardless, the 3 palettes contains 16 eyeshadows and  4 blushes. The 3 palettes has different theme, there's a neutral, vibrant and a bit for dramatic/dark theme.
The palette retails for $17.95 each. But I got them for $10 each which makes a huge difference on its actual price. The eyeshadow pan are comparable to the size of the eyeshadow pan of they're 88 eyeshadow palette. In my opinion they have identical size.
The quality of the eyeshadows are 80% powdery and the 20% are eyeshadows that you need to pack the color a couple of times just to show which is really a waste of a product.

The BH San Francisco palette has all this gorgeous wearable shades
which is perfect for everyday look, sultry look as well as
glamorous make-up. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, I swatched
a couple of them which I haven't try yet and I am satisfied with the quality.
The picture below the eyeshadows are the swatches of the 4 blushes.
I really love the color pay off of the blushes, though the first blush on
the 2nd row would not be a perfect shade for me, it barely show on my skin
and I afraid that it will look too light for my skin tone.

The Hollywood palette is perfect for Spring and Summer season, the
eyeshadows are very soft and just 1 to 2 swipe they appear very vibrant.
With this palette you can create a dramatic and colorful look, my favorite shade
would definitely be the lime green color, its kinda hard to find a opaque lime color
such this.
The blushes from this palette with my go to blush for different occasions. Why?
Because you have 3 different blushes to choose from and you also have a
a very lovely highlighting color. The blush on the 2nd row, 2nd column, if you
look at it on the palette it looks a matte contouring powder, but when I swatched
it, it is a gorgeous matte peach color which is a perfect shade for your dramatic
eye make-up.

The Malibu palette is my least favorite. The eyeshadows specially
the matte texture looks so cakey for example the Mustard yellow color
eyeshadow on the top row first color on the right, I pat the color
more than 7 times just to get swatch of it, but still unclear, it is not
pigmented at all. The 1st color on the 2nd row (left) is matte peach brown
color which is very cakey looking. I don't like the texture and its extremely
powdery.
The 4 blushes doesn't looks good either to me specially the 2 highlighting shades
at the bottom (2nd row). I don't see any difference regarding with the color pay off
they are very identical and they both look flaky on the skin.

CONCLUSION:
I definitely recommend the  San Francisco palette and the Hollywood palette. I already try this too palette
and I do love the quality of them, the Malibu palette would be nice to try if you are really curious on how they actually look once you decided to create a look using this palette or same as me who love collecting make-up. Other than that, I think that you can skip purchasing palette.

Glossybox NL November 2012

Glossybox celebrates there 1 year anniversary. I just
can't believe that days run by so fast, that imagining
I had my subscription from them back in February 2012.
I receive my package from Glossybox last friday
which is November 23, 2012. And I am very impress
with the goodies that I saw inside the box.

Glossybox came with a rectangular pale pink box. I am not really a hug
fan of pink color but since that this is not really a very eye catching pin,
its definitely accepted on my personal taste.
Normally Glossybox came with a plane color ribbon but this time, they
printed the logo with a note says "Anniversarybox" on the ribbon which I
really like.

Review: Ever Bilena eyeshadow with blush-on

When I went for a holiday in the Philippines back in March
I had a list of make-ups as well as cosmetic brands that I
really wanted to try. On my very top list is the Ever Bilena
products, I purchased quite a few items from the brand to try
out.
I came across to there eyeshadow/blush palette which I
purchased.
Sad to say, I forgot how much this palette retails. But I don't think
its really a huge deal. You can always check out some make-up gurus
in Youtube who filmed a haul video or tutorial using this product.
But one thing I know for sure is that, they are definitely affordable.
This palette contains 8 eyeshadows and 2 blushes. I tried for the
very first time this palette yesterday. I am completely in love with  the
pigmentation of the eyeshadows as well as the blushes.
That colors that I tried is actually from the first layer I used all the color,
the 2nd layer I used the light blue and on the 3rd layer of eyeshadows
I used the shimmery white and the shimmery silver which I adore
so so much.

This are the swatches of the 8 eyeshadows. As you can see they
are decently pigmented. I forgot to swatch the blushes. Sorry!
But don't worry because I will be posting a picture of a make-up look
using this palette.
The bottom line is that a highly recommend that you check out
this palette if you live in the Philippines. I don't think that they shipped
there product international.

Elf HD Blushes Review

This are new products from Elf cosmetics that I've been
wanting to have ever since they came out. This are HD blushes
which are extremely affordable, they retails for only € 4.00.
I've got 4 different shades which are available in the website. There
are actually 5 shades, but the other is not available in the website.
The height of the blush container is 7.5cm/ 3 " means that
they are very tiny. It also contains 0.34fl. oz or 10ml which a pretty
descent amount of products, well I considered it a lot, because
with this extremely pigmented blush., you absolutely need a very
tiny mini amount of this blush. The blush container also comes with a
pump which I love, it feels absolutely hygenic.

From Left to Right: Superstar, Diva, Encore & Showstopper
I' ve tried this product (superstar) today and I am inlove with the
pigmentation of this blush. This product will gonna last your
forever. And thats really true.
How much I love this Elf HD blushes, for some reason they
really have a problem with the formula. Particularly the shade
Diva and Showstopper.

I try this blush today and it looks amazing, it has matte finish once
it sets on to your skin.It looks very natural too, it looks like my
cheeks are blushing naturally.

The shade Diva are very liquidy, what concerns me is that
its not like a watery texture but it is oily. Theres a lotof oil
ingredients in it that bothers me. Im kinda a bit scared that once
I used it on my face, it will turns my cheeks  greasy looking, which I don't
want at all. And also the oil comes out to the pump so much even if
I don't press the pump, which is really messy and can cause a problem
when I carry it with me specially if I put it in my train case.

Encore shade, for me it has a very fine shimmers on it. It is what is
appears to me after swatching it on the back of my hands. Definitely excited
to try this one and see how it looks on me.

The showstopper blush has a very thick consistency and this is
also the deepest and darkest shade among the 4 of them. The thick
consistency doesn't matters to me. And this particular shade would
definitely suits the ladies that has a deep skin tone. I will absolutely
try this shade and let you all know how I like it.

How apply them would be a question:
I actually apply the blush using the Real Techniques contour brush
which is very soft and dense.
To be specific with the application, I will pump the blush on
the back of my hand, and I will start to spread the blush using this
brush and tap it off a few times before applying it on my cheeks. Then
I will starts to blend it on my skin, until it looks natural and soft.
